Basic Function: Oversee and manage the Marketplace, Mii amo spa Boutique and Activities Shops, online web-stores, group gift program and all other retail areas to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability is maximized
Work Performed& Responsibility:
  1. Supervise all retail staff to ensure compliance with resort management objectives and procedures
  2. Implement, conduct and supervise all retail training programs at the multi store level in accordance with product description and department SOP’s
  3. Ensure timely compliance and participation of al retail staff in resort training, certification and licensing programs in partnership with Human Resources
  4. Ensure that the department profitability and objectives are met by acting as a Financial Leader
  5. Create excitement and energy in contests and promotions used to drive sales
  6. Interview, hire, review performance and handle disciplinary actions as necessary for all retail staff
  7. Ownership of webstore responsibilities including photography, copy writing and uploading
  8. Hands on maintenance and monitoring of POS system and its functions.
  9. Assist in displaying of merchandise in retail outlets with Retail Director
  10. Manage department scheduling, payroll and forecasting
  11. Review and correction of departmental P&L’s and related invoicing
  12. Other duties as assigned
Supervision Exercised: Retail Associates, Retail Warehouse Associates
Supervision Received: Director of Procurement
Responsibility & Authority:
  1. Oversee the Internet, website and catalog sales
  2. Assist with control and administration of budget for the Gift, Spa & Tennis shops
  3. Maintain outside business contacts with vendors and other retail operations
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years experience in retail service and management. Strong supervisor skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills both verbally and written. Strong computer skills to utilize retail software and other company software.
