Job Description

Basic Function: Provide and facilitate excellent food and beverage service to our guests in an expedient, professional and courteous manner.  Assist servers with food service

Work Performed:

  1. Arrive at scheduled start time, ready to work
  2. Uniform must be neat and pressed and must be in compliance with all Uniform Standards and guidelines. Company grooming standards followed at all times
  3. Complete all pre and post shift side-work assignments
  4. Complete knowledge of all Café menus, Juice Bar menus, wine lists, etc…
  5. Complete knowledge of server stations (floor map)
  6. Prepare teas and coffees
  7. Assist the server with the expedition of food to the tables
  8. Serve guests and internal employees in established standards
  9. Refill nonalcoholic beverages
  10. Clear tables appropriate to the course.
  11. Communicate constantly to the server (especially  all        guest needs)
  12. Recognize guests by name using names whenever possible
  13. Thank guests for dining with us
  14. Assist Juice Bar attendant when available
  15. Completely set tables with all items including proper, polished service ware
  16. Report any guest dissatisfaction, mishandled order and opportunities to management in a timely manner
  17. Maintain par levels supplies
  18. Keep work station clean at all times
  19. Read all memos
  20. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and co-workers
  21. Report to Restaurant Manager or Supervisor before ending work shift
  22. Act as an ambassador of Enchantment Resort and Mii amo by speaking positively of the property at all times
  23. Foster a work environment of teamwork and mutual service by assisting co-workers and other departments as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
  24. Knowledge of Resort layout, amenities, hours of operations, special attractions and occasions
  25. Work efficiently and as a team
  26. Other duties as assigned

Supervision Received: Café Manager, Café Supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.  Must work well with or without direct supervision.  Must be neat and well groomed at all times.  Needs to be flexible, self motivated, positive and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-worker and management.  Must maintain current food handler’s certification.   Prior busser experience desired.   English skills necessary to communicate with guests
