How you will enjoy your day: Supervise and administer all Front of House operations for the two main restaurants in the Lodge, assist in the coordination of new ideas in guest service, service training and product enhancement. Supervise Restaurant Managers and employees and administer in accordance with department and resort policies. Cove the shifts, conduct training, ensure guest satisfaction, create and execute programming under F&B Director oversight and support. 

Work Performed:

  1. Supervise and manage two restaurants at the Lodge to ensure compliance with resort management objectives and the health and safety of all employees and guests.
  2. Control inventory and order all necessary liquor, beer and wine for outlet operations in conjunction with the Restaurant Managers and Sommelier. 
  3. Cover the shifts on daily basis. This is working director position. 
  4. Train and reinforce 5 stars service in both restaurants.
  5. Ensure guests satisfaction and quality product.
  6. Control inventory and order all necessary administrative and grocery items for outlet operations in conjunction with the Restaurant Managers.
  7. Assist with monthly inventories for both food and beverage in conjunction with the Restaurant Managers and Sommelier.
  8. Perform China, Glass and Silver inventories in conjunction with the Restaurant Managers.
  9. Maintain established service levels to ensure consistent guest experience at a high-quality level.
  10. Ensure that all restaurants are in perfect condition.
  11. Train and comply with Resorts standards and 5 Starts Forbes requirements
  12. Act as an ambassador of Enchantment by speaking positively of the Resort at all times. 
  13. Foster a work environment of teamwork and mutual service by assisting co-workers and other departments as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
  14. Maximize profitability by constantly monitoring labor costs, food costs and beverage costs as well as departmental expenses.
  15. Interview, hire, train and supervise staff.
  16. Schedule management and staff for outlets in accordance with business needs and management objectives.
  17. Conduct performance reviews as necessary for the department.
  18. Develop incentive programs to enhance profitability within the department.
  19. Responsible for the training of all service staff in established Food and Beverage service standards and resort policies.
  20. Responsible for staffing levels, scheduling, evaluating, and disciplining departmental team members as required.
  21. Participate in monthly P&L reviews and assist in the budgeting process.
  22. Hold monthly restaurants meetings to review resort events, departmental policies and procedures and maintain a high level of morale. 
  23. Other duties as assigned.

Supervision Received: Food and Beverage Director and Managing Director

Responsibility & Authority:

  1. Ability to maintain a high level of guest service at all times in all guest services areas. 
  2. Upholds the resort commitment to hospitality.
  3. Works closely with all departments to ensure guest service levels are being met.
  4. Ability to deal effectively with all departments with regular communication. 

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university; or equivalent related work related experience and/or training. Prefer 3+ years’ restaurant management and hotel/resort food and beverage operations experience. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease. Computer skills required. Strong guest and team member relations skills.
