Basic Function
: Assist with planning, developing, and implementing all Human Resources policies including employment, wage and salary administration, training and development, benefit programs (to include FLMA, LOA), Work Comp, Team Member relations and investigations, billing, and community relations.

Work Performed:

  1. Provide administration for all team member benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and FMLA/Leaves. 
  2. Conduct quarterly audits on hours worked to ensure all employees are in the correct work status.
  3. Organize and arrange annual Open Enrollment meetings with our Benefit partners.
  4. Provide support, counseling and recommendations to management and team members, as well as conduct investigations as needed.
  5. Facilitate all team member status change and termination PAF’s in ADP.
  6. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal legislation and recordkeeping requirements.
  7. Design, implement and audit on a continual basis the Human Resources policies and procedures.
  8. Manage the Work Comp program by tracking all workplace injuries and claims. Be an active member on the Companies Safety Team.
  9. Participate in the budgeting process and P&L review.
  10. Attend various resort meetings; scoop, leadership, etc.
  11. Establish positive community relations and contacts with local agencies.
  12. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all team member files and prepare timely and meaningful reports for management’s use as necessary.
  13. Plan, implement and manage various team member recognition events.
  14. Contribute to team member culture.
  15. Lead the annual engagement survey process.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibility & Authority:

  1. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of team members in the resort. 
  2. Responsible for the control and confidentiality of all Human Resources items, including but not limited to team member files.
  3. Be the first point of contact for team member relations and investigations.

Minimum Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university or equivalent work-related experience and/or training. Prior HR Management experience. Thorough knowledge of all Human Resources functions. Work experience in a Forbes, AAA and/or Relais & Chateaux hotel/resort desired. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease. Computer skills required. Strong team member relations skills.
